Douglass “Doug” Alongia was born and raised in the New Orleans area and — aside from his years at LSU in Baton Rouge – has lived in New Orleans and Metairie all his life. After LSU, he returned home to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, earning his J.D. in 2014.

Admitted to the Louisiana State Bar that same year, Doug began his career with Tonry, Brinson & Glorioso in Slidell, handling criminal, property, personal injury, and succession matters. He went on to practice with Juan LaFonta & Associates before founding GNO Legal.

When he’s not in the office or the courtroom, Doug is with his wife Rachel, their six kids, and their two dogs — gardening, camping, watching the Saints win, or just relaxing together.
